The Futz Butler is a bespoke Music & Sound Studio based in Central London. Specialising in Original Music Composition, Sound-Design and Audio Post for Film, Advertising, TV and Tech; They create award-winning sounds for clients such as Adidas, BMW and Disney.
Design & Development
Designed By Eli Bassa and developed by Credia, we collaborated to create a modern website using the latest technologies like Vue, Laravel and Nova. The forefront of the website was built using Vue.js and was configured to load every page at maximum speed. The data taken from an API, provided by Laravel, is controlled by the content management system built on Laravel Nova.
Integration
Using Vimeo to host the videos has allowed us to save on processing and hosting video content. Vimeo provides an API that allows us to customise the video player and allows us to have features like mouse-over previews.
A unique integration made for this website was the custom-built Instagram plugin on the home page. This feature allows the last 5 Instagram post made by the client to be shown
Additionally, a Spotify ticker was placed on the homepage that shows the clients playlist. This uses the Spotify API which allowed us to grab a list of songs and show it on our own custom-built way.
